The exhibition Resistance: Jewish Women Designers of Modernism highlights the importance of Jewish women designers for the emancipation and modernization process of German society in the early 20th century—in their roles as women, Jews, and artists.
With around 300 exhibits by more than 50 designers, the world's first group exhibition on this topic brings together pioneers who, despite social marginalization, fought their way to prominent positions in their respective fields until the Nazi regime destroyed their careers and lives.
