Tour for People Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired (120 Min.)
To mark its 25th anniversary, the Jewish Museum Berlin invites visitors to look beyond the present: Twelve artistic projects developed specifically for the exhibition open up new perspectives on our times and encourage reflection on social change.
The works explore the challenges of an often oppressive present and encourage visitors to develop their own visions of a more livable future.
A key starting point for the exhibition is the perspective of the Jewish minority, which has had to endure many unbearable realities throughout its history. The exhibition The Opposite of Now explores alternatives: reversal, hope, and the vision of a better life for all.
The guided tour of the exhibition introduces the twelve artistic projects, explains the conceptual background of the exhibition, and invites visitors to engage in a discussion about The Opposite of Now.
