Guided tour in English (90 minutes)
An approximately 40-metre-long walkway runs as an expansive element through the post-1945 era space. Restitution and “reparations”, the triangular relationship between Germany, Israel and Jews in Germany, as well as the waves of immigration and emigration of Jews to and from Germany will be just as much a topic as Russian-speaking immigration from 1990 onwards.
In a final chorus, Jews will speak on 21 monitors about being Jewish in Germany. The images and original sounds come together to form a polyphonic final chord of Jewish life today.
