Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the web shop https://tickets.jmberlin.de/ and was last revised on June 28, 2025.
The accessibility requirements are set out in the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG), in Section 14 BFSG in conjunction with Section 3 Para. § Section 3 (1) BFSG.
The specific technical measures are based on the guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 with conformance levels A and AA.
An accessibility audit carried out by Hellbusch Accessibility Consulting on May 16, 2025 in accordance with WCAG 2.2, EN 301 549 revealed that our web shop does not yet offer complete accessibility.
As part of our commitment to accessibility and user-friendliness, we strive to comply with all relevant accessibility standards (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA) and are continuously working to remove the barriers that still exist by mid 2026.
Which areas are not accessible?
Images and alternative texts
- Some graphics and images do not have alternative texts, so screen reader users cannot understand what is being displayed.
Structure and clarity
- Some headings and paragraphs are missing or not correctly implemented, making it difficult to find your way around the page.
- The titles of the pages do not give a clear indication of the respective content.
Forms and input fields
- Form fields are sometimes not clearly labeled or not correctly linked to their function.
- Users do not always know which fields must be completed.
- Personal data cannot be suggested automatically as the autocomplete attributes are missing.
- If the content of the page changes when filling out a form, this is not communicated.
- Feedback for incorrect entries is too general and does not help.
Interactive elements and navigation
- In the tab navigation (e.g. for selecting the payment method), the keyboard focus is not passed on correctly - this makes it difficult to use the keyboard.
- Especially in the teasers, captions or descriptions cannot be accessed using the keyboard.
- Active control elements such as date or time selection fields are not technically implemented correctly (e.g. ARIA attributes are missing).
Contrast and zoom
- The contrast between text and background is too low, especially for error messages - this makes reading difficult.
- Minor display problems occur when the page is enlarged.
